A swan sleeps in the pond at Lysice Chateau in the Boskovice region of Czech Republic. As it sleeps, it is slowly floating on top of the water, but its body is still. Alive yet asleep, it is still life.
Davis is a student in the College of Design at NC State. He has shown work at NCMA before in the Self-Observed exhibition, as well as a local gallery in downtown Raleigh.
